The Division of Gynecologic Oncology offers comprehensive surgical and medical care for women with known or suspected cancer and precancer of the reproductive system at LBJ Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Pretreatment evaluation, surgery, chemotherapy, and posttreatment surveillance are provided. Women who require radiation therapy as part of their treatment are treated in collaboration with radiation oncologists.

Counselling and information are provided for women with a family history of cancer of the reproductive system. In addition, difficult and unusual gynecologic surgical problems are also managed by members of the division.
