Message from the Chair

Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.

Our Department consists of four divisions: General Obstetrics & Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Reproductive Endocrinology.

The attending physicians in our Department are all faculty members of The University of Texas-Houston Medical School in Houston, Texas. Our physicians provide coverage at Memorial Hermann Hospital and Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) General Hospital. Faculty members are involved in patient care, education, research and community service.

As a teaching university, we have a commitment to medical student and resident physician education. We have two fully accredited residency programs in Obstetrics and Gynecology based at two hospitals: Memorial Hermann and Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital (LBJ). In addition, we offer a fully accredited three-year fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
